Award Nominations and 2023 Conference

REGISTRATION 

It is time to register for the Public Defender Association of Iowa Annual Seminar.  The seminar is in Ankeny on June 21-23.   Online registration and hotel block link is posted on the PDAI website.  

AWARD NOMINATIONS

We are currently accepting nominations for our annual awards. The Virginia Larson Memorial Award will be given to the public defender of the year. The William Hargrave Memorial Award will be given to the investigator of the year. Finally, the Melanie Thwing-Eastman Award will be given to the young attorney of the year.  The award recognizes an outstanding attorney who has been in practice less than five years.
